About the author
Tom Pixton selected, arranged and engraved the music, wrote the editorial commentary, designed and typeset the book, and published it. He did not, however, run the printing presses or bind the books. That was done to his specifications by Sheridan Books, a leading US book printer.

Tom is an accordion player, band leader, arranger and composer, active in the New England area. When he is not doing music stuff, he works as a communications consultant for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, also known as MIT.
